Running
I could not believe the time.
After moving to Princeton in September 2024, I became a runner! My colleagues astrophysicists convinced me to join the Princeton Half Marathon. Even though I trained from zero and for only a handful of weeks, I completed it much faster than I expected! But above all, it was an incredibly fun experience. This gave me the motivation to continue to run and try more races. I must also thank Hofie Hannesdottir, who taught me so much on all things running after my first race, and inspired me to train and improve.
For the first year of running, I maintained a rather casual attitude. This changed in September 2025, when I got a smartwatch, signed up to Strava, and started to train consistently for my second Princeton Half Marathon. I am determined to continue training in the next few years, and see what are the best times I can achieve.
